Chat system is the most direct method to interact with others in a game.

Chat Types

Channel Chat
Enables you to interact with users everywhere except in the Forgotten Ruins of the same channel that
you are logged in.

Public Chat
It is the most basic type of chat which enables you to send messages to all of the users near you.

Whisper
Enables you to speak with a user privately.

Party Chat
Enables you to chat with your party members.

Guild Chat
Enables you to chat with your guildsmen.

Trade Chat
Enables you to keep a chat bubble on top of your character’s head for approximately 5 minutes.

Chat Shortcut Keys

Channel Chat

• How to activate Channel Chat: Click on the text input window at the bottom of your screen,
  or type /L or /l and then press the [Enter] key.
• Shortcut key: type /L or /l and then press the [Enter] key to activate the Channel Chat.

Public Chat

• How to activate Public Chat: Click on the text input window at the bottom of your screen,
  or just press the [Enter] key.
• Shortcut key: type /N or /n and then press the space bar to activate the Public Chat.

Whisper

• How to send whispers: Type /W or /w and then press the [Enter] key.
• Reply to Whispers: Type /R or /r and then press the [Enter] key to activate the Whisper mode.
• Shortcut key: type /W or /w and then press the [Enter] key to activate the Whisper mode.

Party Chat

• How to activate Party Chat: Click on the text input window at the bottom of your screen,
  or type /P or /p and then press the [Enter] key.
• Shortcut key: type /P or /p and then press the [Enter] key to activate the Party Chat.

Guild Chat

• How to activate GuildChat: Click on the text input window at the bottom of your screen,
  or type /G or /g and then press the [Enter] key.
• Shortcut key: type /G or /g and then press the [Enter] key to activate the Guild Chat.

Trade Chat

• How to activate Trade Chat: Click on the text input window at the bottom of your screen,
  or type /T or /t and then press the [Enter] key.
• Shortcut key: type /T or /t and then press the [Enter] key to activate the Trade chat.
