Patren
He had lost his parents by an accident, and was on a journey by himself. He has abilities to understand ancient languages and to confuse monsters, so he is not having problems travelling alone. He has a strange scholastic passion toward learning history as much as his fear toward unfamiliar places. Recently he has made several friends to travel together. He is strongly determined, but still he is a mere kid who relies on people for many things.
Freed
A member of the Treasure Hunter Guild. He has joined the Patrens after he was rescued by Patren from a dangerous dungeon while finding ancient treasures. He is one of the best hunters in his guild, and his skills in reading and drawing maps must be the best in the continent.
Rin
The very first female master of the Thief Guild. She is from a historic merchant family, but her family was lost from a business conflict with a local officer, and she barely escaped alone. Since then, she was brought up by thieves and became a member of the Thief Guild. Her goal is to become as powerful as she can, so that no one can look down upon her. Previously she was on a journey to evade Kashu who executed a rebellion to take over her guild master position, but then she happened to join the Patrens. She is carrying a pair of daggers that symbolize the Thief Guild master position.
Silverwood
He joined the Patrens after they found him seriously wounded and unconscious on the ground. Although he was accepted into the group, Rin does not like him and often says harsh words about him. He always insists that mildness overpowers severity. He is interested in ancient ruins and relics, and has great knowledge of them.
Bein
Bein was the most trusted one among the officers that have been dispatched from the Sage Tower to every police in order to investigate indications of the Lord of Destruction. At the same time, he is assigned to lead rookie officers; inexperienced Aike and troublesome Arionell. He often becomes the man in the news because of his extraordinary background, such as graduating the Academy as the first on the list or obtaining a legendary sword. However, he is always modest and tries hard not to show himself off. Aike and Arionell look up to him just like their parents. He is worried about his wife’s health, and about his son who is following in his father’s footsteps and is about to take the entrance examination of the Polis Liber Academy. However, he never shows his worries to others, and he is doing his best in his duty.
Arionell
She is from the Cruizes, the renowned Force Magic family, but she is a yet troublesome apprentice mage. Every teacher has given up on her for her incapability to understand magic. She is naturally careless, so she always makes foolish mistakes. She has become a Sage Tower’s officer not only because of her family’s fame but also because of her surprising latent ability in summoning powerful ancient creatures, which is impossible even for the deans of academies. Sadly, she hates to do things that force her to make an effort or to use her brain.
Aike
He has been acting tough because he knows that he looks younger than his age and has a sensitive personality. He became a Sage Tower’s officer to become more powerful by undergoing hard missions. Arionell is giving him a headache by making many stupid mistakes. He is envious of his younger brother who is tall, big and strong just like their father.
Captain Mark
A mysterious old man who appeared from nowhere and has stayed in an empty house of Desert Scream. Although the people of Desert Scream do not like strangers, he was easily accepted by them for his easy-going personality and extensive knowledge of many things. Sometimes he looks as if he knows everything that is happening and views them with a philosophical eye.
Veradrix
She was an orphan, and was promoted to the 8th Sage, the leader of the Sage Tower’s 6th floor at a young age. However, she is living a time-limited life due to her natal disease. Her parents were killed by thieves in the desert while searching medicines to cure her disease, and she was rescued from thieves by Aldebaran sage. Since then, Aldebaran sage has become her guardian and taken care of her like her parents until she became the 8th Veradrix sage. To Veradrix sage, Aldebaran sage means more than her parent.
Yuan
She is the legend among bladers for her outstanding dual-wield skills. However, she keeps everything about herself secret, so there are many rumors going on about her. She seems to know something about the secret organization and the Lord of Destruction.
Aldebaran
He is one of the Sage Tower’s 7 sages. He always smiles and makes a favorable impression on people. He is known to have a great interest in ancient history. He has been wandering all over Nevareth while hiding his true identity. He cares for the 8th Veradrix sage.
Heill
A Sage Tower’s researcher. He hates people and has a cranky personality. He is one of the most important members in “the Retired Eccentric’s Association” with Teski the Core Alchemist. He often says harsh things, but in fact he is very cooperative if you have something to ask him. So, you’d better think carefully and answer his questions for your quest. Rumor has it that there is no player who has not been fooled by this mischievous man.
Tesky
A bizarre Core Alchemist who used to be a leading member of the Mage Guild in the past. Currently, he is an adviser of “the Retired Eccentric’s Association”. He has an extremely cynical and self-centered personality. If you have something to ask of him, you must pay the price first.
Skaild
A rookie swordsman who thinks of himself as a genius. He took his family’s heirloom sword and ran away from home to see a larger world. Sadly he is nothing but a pathetic, inexperienced swordsman with a big mouth. He is preoccupied to think of a “cool pose” with the heirloom sword, and does not care what other people think about it at all. He happened to take a short fancy to Arionell and follow her and the others for a while.
Amnesiac Shade
I have been here since long before everything went into nothing…
You can’t see anything, or hear anything but me in this place… This must be the time for me to leave this world…
I did not forget my name but lost it as time has passed by…
Now I am going to lose my existence by a human…
Well, it is fine by me…I lived too long in this confined world…
Skaild on the Bike
“Wait, why the hell must this dude be introduced twice?” You may think that, but rumor has it that he appeared with this valuable bike one day and hurt many users’ feelings. For your information, you can witness Skaild on the bike by undergoing a quest titled “Astral Bike” which requires character level 71 to participate.
Mystic Blade
He acts as if there is no worldly affair that interests him, and only speaks when it is necessary. He was told to be a member of an organization, but later he left the organization for some reason. He lost his eyes and most of his abilities during the process, but he was able to escape from the organization with his gifted sword skills. He is one of the most powerful men in the world, and if he could use his sealed magic, no one would be his match.
