Reporting Game Crashes:

Hello everyone,

If you are experiencing random client crashes, please try the following:

1) Check for viruses with your normal Anti-Virus software. There are free online virus checkers, such as Trendmicro, if you don’t have one. Use Google.

2) Please check your Sound card drivers. If you have a Realtek HD or 97 chipset , please make sure you have the latest drivers.

3) If none of the above has worked, go into your Cabal Online folder and see if there are any *.Rpt files in it. If so, please compress this file along with your dxdiag.txt file into a zip file and send it to us as an attachment in a Help Desk ticket with the subject “Cabal RPT”. To get the dxdiag.txt file:

- click on Start
- click on Run
- type dxdiag then press enter
- go to the Display tab and click on the buttons Test DirectDraw and Test Direct3D
- go to the Sound tab and click on the button Test DirectSound
- go to the Music tab and click on the button Test DirectMusic when it finishes, click the Save All Information button

Please attach the zip file into a new Help Desk by selecting a Help Desk category with a “#” next to it. A empty field will appear where you can browse and attach the file to the Help Desk. Please do not copy and paste the report as it is too big to fit in the message box.
